Founder professor Ari Kelman wanted something that would speak to his non-traditional approach, and convey the evermore layered and opaque nature of Jewish identity in America. Jackson for her solo show at MOMO gallery in Johannesburg. Jackson's body of work titled Projection Surface makes a commentary on celebrity adoption by reversing the typical race roles in a series of poparazzi style photographs. This is our work created the identity of a fictitious tabloid and all of the subsequent layouts, which were were used as prints in the show. As shown below, the color palette was sampled directly from the city streets.
